About this tool
A Unix timestamp (epoch time) is the number of seconds elapsed since 00:00:00 UTC on January 1st, 1970. It is the most common way to store time in databases, logs and APIs. This tool auto-detects whether your input is seconds (10 digits) or milliseconds (13 digits) and converts both ways: timestamp ↔ local time, UTC, ISO 8601 and relative time.
The live current timestamp updates every second at the top of the page — one click to copy.
